WEEK 9 POST 1

Every week I have many different commitments and I have to give each of my activities their fair share of time. I have school and baseball and they both are very time consuming. The importance of making a distinction between work and play for me is crucial. I know exactly when it is time to get to work and take what I am doing serious, like schoolwork or baseball games. But, at the same time I am able to make the distinction and relax a little bit when it is time to just hangout. I think it is important for me at this time in my life to make good decision; play to me is just relaxing and hanging out with my friends. Being a college athlete brings a lot of pressure to remain in good standing and staying out of trouble is important for that. The main thing that I have learned in college is integration of work and play. I have to make sure I always stay on top of my class work as well as my baseball training. If I slip up in one of them, the other is going to be affected. Managing my time and knowing the difference between work and play is something that I constantly deal with, but keeps me entertained.

  1. I want to begin by letting you know I thought this was a very good post and I enjoyed reading it. I really liked how you stated that you must make a distinction between work and play. I think that is very important and I do the same thing. If people do not make a distinction between work and play they might miss out on some things. Like you stated, I think it is very important to know when it is time to get down to business and when it is time to play and ahve fun. I think when you stated that in college you learned when about integregation of work and play. I think that is the hardest thing to do especially as a college student. Overall, I thought this was a veyr good post. Keep up the good work!
