Throughout
this semester I have learned many different things in terms of communications
and conflicts. For example, the most important thing that I have learned
throughout all of this is the fact that no matter what, conflict is going to be
inevitable. There is no getting around it or avoiding it, but you can manage
it. I learned that stopping yourself, thinking about the problem, listen to
what the other person in the conflict has to say, and then communicating and
using your words rather then your actions can be a great way of dealing with
conflicts. Most of the time the conflicts in our lives are not really that big
of deal; they are simple things that we tend to blow out of proportion and make
it seem worse then it actually is. I learned most important how to use words and
communicate effectively with people in my life rather then resort to conflict.

Post 2... December 8, 2012
The
things that I liked the most about taking this class is the fact that even
though it was my first online class I felt as if it went pretty smoothly. All
directions were made super clear to us and detailed. But, if there were any
problems and I was confused about anything I knew I could email our professor
and get a response very quickly. Content wise I think that I got a lot out of
this class because of all the different solutions that I found in terms of
conflicts and avoiding them or working them out. I don’t really think I don’t have
any complaints or anything like that from this class; everything went pretty
smoothly. I would definitely recommend this class to any body who was thinking
about taking it. Although it was my only online class I have ever taken I still
think that it was fun and beneficial.

POST 1 December 6, 2012
I
think that the reasons why people have such negative views on conflict is
because of the way that it is described in movies and places in which they do
not see it. Movies and television portray conflict as a huge over-thrown event
and not how it actually is. People in turn view conflict as this super negative
thing that has to be very bad. I believe that they more people know as well as
experience conflict the better off they will be and the less they will fear it.
As with anything in life, the more that we know about it the less fear we have.
Once people get to truly experience conflict for themselves they will learn how
to deal with it as well as ways in which they can avoid it. The most important
thing in it all is avoiding conflict, so the more they know, the better off we
will be when things do arise.
