The topic that I wanted to further write about this week is
that of how Facebook and other social networking sites can really affect a
person’s perception on you. We only get one first impression on people and that
is how they feel about us until we are able to change it. Everything that we
put on our social network page needs to be a good representation of ourselves.
Putting something up that may make you look bad might cost you a job opportunity
or get you into trouble. I know for myself that what I put on Facebook has to
be a positive representation of what I do. When I see things on peoples page
that I know they are going to get in trouble for I realize that it is something
that I should not do. Facebook is seen by a lot of different people and you
need to make sure everything that’s on there is real to who you actually are.
